was pangsei-ed today for the first time in my life.

was supposed to go kbox with ms squiggly here and her mum just had to ban her frm leaving her house at the last minute. which left me stranded at newton mrt looking like a bhb idiot.
lucky my parents were out so they could fetch me but what if they werent?! take 171 for one hour back to my house again?! knnlcbb.

okays. now that i've got that off my chest.
went to bugiiiiiiiis on sat with shuf. shopped and watched v for vendetta! it ws pretty good, and i have to agree with my sis that its much better than i expected. not going to win any oscars here but it was pure entertainment at its best rolled in with lots of political statements. and well since shuf and i are both history students, all the more interesting it was. of course it contained certain plot advancements that i didnt quite agree with but oh well. i'm no pro scriptwriter. :)) and the screenplay wasn't even original in the first place it was based on a graphic novel.
highly recommend going to wikipedia and reading its article on V for Vendetta (film version). lots of fascinating stuff on the symbolism, political references etc.
watched munich on sunday. pretty good! but it was waaaaaaay too long. like 3 hours?! omgbbq. i can see why it was nominated for oscars though. everyone gets disillusioned at some point in their life, some even more times than others. i'm so disillusioned that i'm disillusioned with my disillusions. and i've decided.

css finals are coming. dean fans unite! although no matter what, she's going to be a winner because out of the 4 she's the only one who can be successful in the entertainment circle for a sustained period of time. the x-factor
is more important than anything else nowadays i guess. in a world where lots of ppl can sing and look good, one needs to stand out in order to last. just look at american idol. its not always the best singer who wins, its the one who's the most popular (although i disagree with season 2's winner lol). you need to have that elusive x factor. and thats why dean fans are absolutely crazy.
crazy people of the world unite! ahahaha.
come on man if she can even inspire ppl from
teresa's school to root for her instead of teresa, it just shows the amount of star power she has.
actually the final 4 are all pretty good in their own way except for renfred. i mean its so obvious he's using his $$$ to buy his way into each round. although i've heard rumours that its his parents who are forcing him to continue competing and are voting maniacally for him. but i mean seriously even if he wins it'll be a pyrrhic victory. there won't be glory or integrity. there won't be fame and honour. there won't be respect. people will hate him even more. it will prove one thing though.
money does make the world go round.
