hols are finally here! yayness. although it definitely doesnt feel like hols to me.
1. cts are right after hols. 2. my whole life has been a holiday anyway.
i'm serious! cant rmb when but shuf came over once and while we were lounging by the pool under all the palm trees she said i finally know why u dont study. i was like why. and she was like cuz who studies when they're on holiday? hahaha. i guess she's right. my house does vaguely resemble a resort. there really are palm trees btw. anyway i slack so much it doesnt feel like i'm a student. i just dont stress abt my studies til the last minute is all. i go school to socialise and come home to chill out and have fun. haha! life is good in a way. been reading some hilarious things lately. like my nuke arms race notes. one of the theories for arms control, right next to "fear of miscalculation (need quick decision vs flawless information; due deliberation eliminates all possible error from insufficient or inaccurate data)" was, "fear of lunatics pressing the button." lols! right along with all the other 10001 factors. and then again later on in the notes "...firing off nuclear weapons whether by deliberation or by accident." haha the spastic stuff some ppl do. and believe it or not, i'm actually reading this book now called "harry potter and philosophy- if aristotle ran hogwarts". its been ok so far, basically a compilation of philosophy essays on the themes and imagery found in harry potter. one of the essays: "heaven, hell and harry potter" by jerry l walls has a paragraph which quotes c s lewis (yes the CS lewis of the narnia series): " All sorts of people are fond of repeating the Christian statement that 'God is love'. But they seem not to notice that the words 'God is love' has no real meaning unless God contains at least two Persons. Love is something that one person has for another person. If God was a single person, then before the world was made, He was not Love. " hahaha! take THAT evangelists! although of course this context is definitely going to be misinterpreted by some, because cs lewis was a christian. yes you nincompoops wasn't it obvious enough in the lion the witch and the wardrobe? even if u havent read the book, you should have at least watched the movie. religious symbolism everywhere. susan and lucy crying over aslan's dead body at the stone table anyone? anyways. css is tmr! omg i'm turning into a fan and guess who i'm a fan of. no wait dont guess, there's a 1 in 8 chance you'll get it right haha. but if u know me well enough and you watch the show, you should be able to know. you'll find out by this post anyway. am so voting because the final judgement is arriving and all teeters precariously on the brink.
must jia you k dean! let your confidence be your confidence, thats all that matters-
