oh man this is unbelievable stuff! how on earth this happened i have no idea. crash won for best picture?! like omfgbbq.

what is this shit man. you know why they didn't get best pic? cuz ang lee was already going to get best director, and to conform to oscar "split-the-pie" tradition, he couldnt get any other major awards.
and the producers of crash are damn jian can. last minute go and send dunno how many promotional vids to the academy voters to try to coax them over. wth, even if you're not tall you don't have to crawl around and smear your face with mud right. i don't believe this man. have some integrity can?!
bleagh. oh wells. and this from the girl who believes that all's fair in love and war. at least they got 3 awards. this is so stupid. brokeback mountain should have won. its fans aren't going to let this rest i tell you. people are going to start hating crash.
its like in american idol or campus superstar you know, when ppl start hating you if a hot favourite ended up in the bottom 2 with you and was kicked out instead. they start blaming you for it, its really common, just look at the forums of any reality show. the voters at the academy really made a mistake, and i bet you its partly because there were conservatives or extreme religious evangelists in it. grow up la people!
on a lighter note, suhaili didn't chase me for the history essays today! :))) but i didn't hand in lynette lim's essay either. :(((
hai. i'm really disappointed but its alright i guess. brokeback's made history and unlike the others, it'll never fade. one year from now, when the people at next year's oscars talk about this year's winner, crash will be the movie that pulled off the largest upset, the underdog that used underhand means to win, the movie that shockingly beat hot favourite brokeback mountain. see? BBM will always remain in the public consciousness and the media, its just a matter of to what extent. here's to it! -
