ehhhh. prelims in 2 days. wth. i'm so deaded. talk about unprepared.
mentally, i've alr accepted that As are the long term goal, so its ok if prelims are screwed, but you know...pressure pressure pressure everywhere. its so ironic. i just did an essay during my gp prelims a few weeks ago about youths today and their rising stress.
oh man. gp prelims. i'm pretty sure my A1 has gone down the drain. by any luck i might maintain A2. hahaha i get this feeling vignesh is not going to be happy.
anyways. sea on monday! let me tell you a secret (lol i just rmbered my blog is called Je vais te dire un secret. so ironic). i didn't even know my sea prelims were on monday until last last night. sorry mel! i so very confidently lambasted her for claiming my seahist paper was on monday.
"monday is your history right?"
"noooooo where got?"
"its history la"
"no its not! there's nothing on on monday!"

hahaha somemore in my heart i was thinking i'm sure i know my own history paper timing better than you do. lols. i am humbled. and lucky i decided to check, if not monday no shu-en would have turned up. hey! thats actually a pretty good idea...
maybe i can come late then they wont let me take it....
haha jk la.
just attempted to cram the entire j1 syllabus in 2 days. screwed la i tell u. i dont rmb anything at all. most likely i'll sit down, stare at the paper and start concocting stories again. bahhh. nvm at least can hone my narrative skills.
i actually LIKE reading my int hist notes, partly cuz the most hilarious stuff pops up. besides gaping at the ludicrous paranoia of the US over every little thing the USSR does, and the drama mamas the presidents are, stuff like this also pops up:

(this is really a point in my notes)
Gorbachev's view of reforms in Soviet vocabulary was A series of modifications which leave the basic political, economic and social order intact.

like wth! lols. and i think i mentioned this before, but in the NAR notes, i cant rmb it exactly but it said smth about them being so paranoid about nuclear weapons because of fear that one side might 'accidentally push the button'.
and stuff like Reagan going on television for this mock testing thing, and announced live on national tv that they were going to launch nuclear warheads on the Soviet Union in less than 5 minutes. lols. like duh the soviets would freak out right.
just saw cuban missile crisis last night. US minister Rusk on the Soviet submarines which were fast approaching the naval blockade then abruptly turned tail: 'We're eye to eye and I think the other fellow just blinked.'
hahaha! or even the korean war. not really funny in the context of its death toll. but as the USSR was trying to appear innocent, Soviet soldiers who were interrogating the UN prisoners of war were ordered to put on Chinese uniforms.
what the?! hahahahaha! i'm SURE just by wearing the chinese uniform, you look totally chinese. like hello?? what about ur faceAND ur speech?! the very fact that you dont speak chinese (or maybe chinese in an angmoh accent) says volumes. and i'm not racist ok. ridiculous stuff la.
oh oh oh! not to mention the various hilarious names of the burmese kings. U Thant, U Saw, U Nu, etc. hhaha i guess sea can be funny too. i can just imagine.

"did u see U Saw?"
"you saw what?"

or even

"are you talking about U Nu?"
"you knew what?"

lols. court politics must have been really confusing last time. yeah i know laaaaammmmeee siaaaaaaa.
bleagh. i'm starved.
going to eat dinner now! byebyes.

p.s. did you know fernando torres became captain of atletico madrid when he was only 19? he was their youngest ever player too. <333
