FINALLY i can start updating again. hahaha its so funny cuz wl just asked me a few weeks ago, 'is your blog dead?' and i was like 'NO!' and then i don't update for like 3 weeks. let me explain the situation. my desktop crashed (horribly) so i had to go get a new laptop cuz i'll use it for uni anw so what for wait another 2 months? plus it was a really good deal. its a compaq presario v3507 and its gorgeous! (: lappy love <3 its so pretty and glossy and sleek and who cares that it weighs over 2 kg because its pretty and glossy and sleek. anw. just developed this food allergy thingy which caused me to sprout rashes so i'm really worried about starting work tmr. yes, its ANOTHER job i know. i'm giving private tuition on the sidelines already. i just feel like i have to atone for 2 1/2 months of not doing anything u know? been going on holiday and slacking and all. just ended this cool job at expo trade fair. CommunicAsia 2007, dunno whether anyone's heard of it. (anyone our age anw), but it was pretty big. i was a receptionist for this US based satellite company called Viasat. oh yeah i just rmbered i havent emailed my boss yet. anyway i had a blast besides the boring stoning moments when traffic was little. got to spy on other booths (totally fun! i took photos and tried to smuggle datasheets away. dunno whether i was ninja! enough though lol) plus bosses were pretty cool to talk to when they werent busy. my sis and her two other friends and friend's cousin were there as well, so we lunched together. so like lets just say that we all got along but secretly? i was thinking god i'm so glad i am who i am. like jeez are all uni girls this desperate. lols. they were all gushing about the cute amg moh guys in the booths near theirs and girl A was even spilling about how she emailed this supposedly cute guy and was waiting anxiously for his reply. like, ok, get a life. and the worst thing is theyre not even half bad looking girls. maybe the 'prettier' you are the more insecure you get? hahaha weird. anyon with any dignity and self respect would never obsess about boys like that. i mean, even though this belgian guy in the booth opposite mine had a really tight ass, i would never consider going up to him and asking for a picture, know what i'm saying? talk about reinforcing the asian girl/SPG stereotype. GOD so many westerners think we're loose and slutty and everything. i was walking along the exhibition booths on the red carpet one day when this middle-aged european-looking guy bent down and smiled at me. and not in the friendly way. in the really perverted helloooo little girrlllll way. i quickly looked away but i could still see him jab his friend in the arm and they BOTH looked and smiiiillllleeeedddd at me. god, ew. and then on the last day, i was walking between hall 6 and 5 to meet my sister when this guy looked down (i know i'm short already!) and made this loud SMOOCHING sound at me. it was like out of nowhere i see this guy bending over and going "mmmwwwkkkss" IT WAS SO DISGUSTING i quickly walked away but turned around and glared at him. i mean, i don't care if you're rich or successful it doesn't mean i'm dying to sleep with you alright?! my sister's friend told me that her friend had even been asked out/solicited by her boss before. he asked her if she wanted to go for drinks and visit his hotel later. MY GOD. but other than those stuff, it was pretty fun.
oooh i watched fantastic 4 already! the silver surfer looked totally cool. jessica alba is hot as usual, and chris evans looks even HOTTER than usual. no pun intended. flame on, baby, hell yeah! the movie really isn't as bad as the critics say it is. i for one liked the first movie, and i thought the 2nd was better than the first. so all i'm saying is, if you're looking for light-hearted healthy entertainment, go watch it! there were some parts which were unintendedly funny. like u know sue storm and johnny storm are siblings in the movie, right? during the part where jessica alba was standing in front of chris evans in her wedding dress you could tell he was TOTALLY checking her out. his expression was kind of wrong. hahahaahaha! it was kind of creepy but yet kind of hot. they should date in real life and beat brangelina at World's Hottest Celebrity Couple.
oh and i watched zodiac as well. shuf i'm sorry if u hated it and made u waste 9.50! haha but i liked it (and not just because of jake gyllenhaal ok). its actual brain fodder not like the rubbish that is starsky and hutch. now i'm awaiting transformers and OOTP. dang still havent preordered deathly hallows. and still havent gotten my green nano. should i get it? my dad says i shouldnt waste money on ipods when i can get other mp3 players for cheaper. i dunno. anyway i know its kind of old, but i'm ending off with Umbrella! love this song and love rihanna.
