well its been one whole week and i still feel a leeeetle starstruck over meeting ian mckellen (yeah i know sue me haha, but i really adore him). nth much going on besides working, unless u count that trip to MOS on wednesday which turned out to be kind of funny cuz we went way too early. hahaha sheen we should actually start queuing to go in around 11.
we were so early there was no queue at all, not to mention an empty dancefloor. photos on facebook (not very successful though, considering the nonexistent lighting and smoke). i have also come to the conclusion that i firmly dislike alcohol. what about it makes everyone so gaga over it? it does not taste good in the first place, not to mention it does stupid things to your body. like seeing spots. geting headaches. not walking straight. ahem. yes you haha.
i think its one of those herd mentality thingies again where ppl claim to like it just cuz it seems cool?
anyway had a vodka coke and did not want anymore. the big stupid bouncer confiscated my water when i went in so i didnt even have anything to neutralise all that alcohol. anyhows it seems that what everyone was saying was right after all and MOS doesnt seem much fun. their music really sucked too. they seem to be living in the previous decade or smth. i mean i like disco but really, this is not even good retro or smth.
then again, considering will young, the spice girls and take that all emerged from the uk, can't really blame them. their taste in music was probably inculcated since young. poor things.

who else cried while reading deathly hallows?! even my sis did.
spoilers below DO NOT HIGHLIGHT
i cried a little when fred died, and then again when reading about lupin and tonks. its so tragic! getting married and dying together in the same year. and now teddy lupin's become another harry, sans lightning-shaped scar. i wonder who victoire is, sounds like some veela cousin to me. I DON'T WANT ONE BIG HAPPY WEASLEY FAMILY! why hermione WHY have you doomed yourself to an eternity with the roonil wazlib? why was the only thing that ginny contributed in the epilogue her uterus? what kind of mentally challenged name is hugo?! (sorry to all hugos out there. it just reminds me of this pc game i used to play when i was small where you had to enter this haunted house and find a green frankenstein-ish pixellated monster called hugo.)
this was a pyhrric victory in all frontiers, but a battle that nonetheless had to be fought. i just wish harry had died.
albus severus is kind of adorable though.

sigh. letting go is so hard. harry potter is over, it really is over. there's no way the movies can match up to the books. one thing for sure is that its legacy will live on. i can already envision future fantasy book reviews. "Well, this novel is certainly no Harry Potter, but..."
its set the benchmark for children's fantasy writing, just like LOTR has set the standard for adult fantasy.

i detest my korean tuition boy's mother. she is a vile, rude, snobbish bitch. hmph! i love all my kids though, theyre all so cute. high school musical this sunday! lalalala. can u believe i havent watched it?! i totally didnt get the fuss over it last time, until the interviews for hairspray appeared and i was like 'since when did zac efron get so cute?!'
zomg
beach tmr! oh and nice to see u again after so long yuks! haha. yummy crab beehoon.

when you're not being emo, be happy!-
