school starts again in less than a week! (((: so strange huh. to think that just one year ago i would have been moaning and groaning at the thought of having to wake up at unearthly hours of the morning and grapple with being late again when school reopens. i really, really like uni. havent updated in some time again, been really busy and tired in a totally good way. dinnered at vivo (OMG NOT AGAIN!) at sushi tei then went to the top level and went totally crazy haha. pics on facebook. lets just it entails alot of wetness. had ice cream at ben and jerry's after that. met wl's old friend janice, didnt know she still works there. haha. i'd already been to vivo THREE times that week alr haha. 2nd time was to help crystal and beets find an orange outfit (i know don't ask) for some party. i was like, orange wtf?! she ended up looking like either an oompa loompa or a pimp when she tried on some outfits in the dressing room. in a bad way lol. pics on fb once again. went to clarke quay for the countdown with wl yuks yp and shuf. dinner was some kind of awesome. BILLY BOMBERS and what a feast it was. me and shuf shared two courses so we had like every kind of meat imaginable. i loved the ribs. in fact, i think i like ribs in general. the one at cafe cartel (st. louis ribs) are really nice too. although i heard the service at cartel really varies. my sis hates it. the outlet at bpp is fine every time i go there, but i've heard some terrible rumours of its service quality and food at the j8 outlet. some guy waited for one and a half hours for a sandwich (idiot la, i would have just walked), and another guy found his ribs still cold inside. anyway this has been the holiday of GOOD FOOD and GETTING TREATED, so what can i say? good life man ((((: it doesn't take much to make me happy, as you can see haha. anw back to the point, after dinner we walked clarke quay then sat down at this bridge (yes, i know), like sat down on the floor and started talking. and laughing. very loudly. hahaha you would think that people would be getting scared away, but no, MORE people came to the bridge and sat down too. haha! anw we talked until nearly midnight and then got up and started counting down with everyone. and then when we reached 1, the fireworks exploded in the far distance. they were kind of obscured by buildings, but you could still see the tip of them going off. so pretty. there was a time when fireworks could make me cry; i still think they can up close. next yr marina bay or esplanade people! woohoo
goodbye 2007, hello 2008. it's been a good year hasn't it? i know for so many people its been the best year of their lives. i think it very well could have been mine too. i got to learn and experience so many things, from new jobs to new countries for holidays to new schools, and uni has been the best kind of education, ever. like, EVER! hahaha. i'm not an optimist but i'm always full of energy. not sure if its positive energy or just a desire to have fun, but i always feel that you know, if you can't even entertain yourself, how can you entertain the world? ppl who always say they are bored is an indication that they can't even entertain themselves, and i think that's just...well, sad. no offence lol. or maybe the energy comes from the fact that i sleep so much HAHAHA! eh actually i think thats most likely. i usually get in like 11 hours of sleep a day, unless i have to go out. haha was supposed to go out with peiwen today but i woke up and it was like 5.15pm, and i was like, okay.
having long, long sleeps is like one of the ultimate luxuries in life, man. who cares if life is too short to waste away? once you're dead, you won't even know what hit you. LOL you won't even KNOW how to appreciate luxury when you're dead, so why deprive yourself now? besides i usually survive on 6 hours of sleep during uni term, so hols are for catching up (((:
class outing at PS was a riot!!! congrats ry! (: and good luck for ur trip later on...guess we'll only all be meeting up once a year from now on. but it was a blast haha. i think manhattan fish market will not welcome us back again, seeing how noisy we all were. never mind, we'll go opposite to park mall and eat fish and co then LOL. pics all on fb, as usual... had RP meeting the day after, then the day after my sis came back from new york. met erni on sun for lunch at bugis then decided to join her for some workshop thingy at national library. i went in and sat for about half an hour and decided to zao. HAHAHA SORRY OKAY ERNI. i did not mean to pang sei u there like that, but it was just like getting a bit intolerable for my impatient and attention deficit self. i mean seriously, its really impt to gain financial intelligence and all but omg, that has to be the most horrifying game of life i've ever played. from car loan payments to assets to liabilities like child rearing, i was thinking ZOMGGG GET ME OUT OF HERE. lalalalala *in denial* so i went downstairs and borrowed some gossip girl books to placate bimbotic, innocent ol' me. hahaha! so sad right. you know you love me, anyway. i borrowed eragon as well, and daywatch. eh they're all movies! omg sheen maybe you're right, its not enough to just read lit texts. i wanna read the god delusion! and babe, good luck with ur issue. i foresee plenty of fireworks and tender romantic comedy moments.... not entirely sure if the latter makes me smile or shudder. haha too much mushiness makes me sick. i hate rom coms frankly.
and you. ugh. its starting to get on my nerves, honestly. just STOP. stop. i don't even know you well enough. and i'm sick of appearing offline or away. hope you get it soon enough, cuz i'm not playing hard-to-get. i'm sorry. it was so nice being normal friends! why'd you have to go and change...or maybe things were the way they were right from the start and i just didn't notice. it's happened before. tell me if i'm wrong?

(: i alr have my pol sci and psych mods. ok finally, i am totally in love with jeff dunham (not in that sense, he's married). he is HILARIOUS and an utterly amazing ventriloquist. my favourite character is achmed! two other ppl love peanuts and walter. ok just watch. racist and insensitive and all out funny stuff.
